Journeying Together

WWO Europe Forum

131 leaders from across Europe gathered around a shared vision: that every child would grow up in a safe and loving family. The forum combined worship, teaching, strategy, and collaboration, focusing on Christ-centred care, child-focused decision-making, family strengthening, and cross-sector partnership, while also addressing the spiritual and emotional resilience needed for long-term ministry.

Participants explored practical responses to child vulnerability in key areas such as church engagement, children on the move, disability inclusion, safeguarding, and rethinking orphanages. The forum concluded with concrete national and regional action plans, reinforcing a shared conviction that hope is not passive, but something lived out through faithful presence, partnership, and practical action.

FEEDBACK FROM PARTICIPANTS

"I’m absolutely charged, motivated and inspired."

"I am very encouraged to work that every child has a family and also has pushed me to think and pray to be a foster parent."

"It was just so encouraging to see how many people are involved in this ministry, and to know going back to my work that there are others with resources, people praying for one another, and a real sense of community."

"Some of the workshops provided very practical tools and resources to share with our teams. It also brought some great connections to build further partnerships and collaboration."
